ABSTRACT
For a decade, the industry-standard was “Cloud-First,” trading control for scalability. However, the rise of Generative AI has introduced a new “Data Gravity” problem. Every prompt sent to a third-party LLM is a potential data egress event, and every API call is a hole in the perimeter. This session explores the technical and security-driven case for bringing AI back on-premises. We will discuss the “Sovereign Lab” framework—leveraging high-performance local compute to run air-gapped agentic swarms—and how this shift simplifies compliance (NIST 800-171/CMMC), slashes long-term OPEX.
