ABSTRACT
The presentation will provide details on cloud network security zoning and show how zoning has evolved to being very dynamic. Norman will provide zoning details including application security such as cloud connectivity patterns and microservices architecture. In addition, we will cover the business case for zoning and common terminology for zoning & cloud.
BIOGRAPHY
Norman is a Senior IT Security consultant with over twenty years of experience working with public and private sectors clients. He has provided consulting services for a wide range of large consulting firms and government departments such as Department of National Defense (DND), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), Shared Service Canada (SSC) and Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS), among others. He is proficient in security architecture, Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A), and security center operations, among others. He has attained his CISSP certification, holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from Carleton University and Business Administration (3 years – IT major) diploma & post graduate certificate in IT Security (1 year) from Algonquin College.
